In late 2008, Devyn joined forces with five other young adults to create the multi-media website FiveAwesomeYAFans. The goal of the website was to get teens excited about reading again through various types of media; daily vlogs (Video Blog), blogs, author chats & forums. FiveAwesomeYAFans has gained the support of much of the YA community bringing fans of the group well into the thousands.
Using the attention gained from creating FiveAwesomeYAFans, Devyn joined forces with YA bloggers Korianne Wey and Mitali Dave to create a one of a kind experience for fans of young adult literature. Teen Author Carnival was created by the trio to give readers a chance to connect with their favorite authors. The response from the literary community couldn’t have been any better with literary agents, marketing teams, best selling authors, debut authors in attendance as well as full support and donations from top publishing companies. The Teen Author Carnival is an annual event and will be entering it’s third year in 2011!
Devyn resides in Michigan in a fort built with books.

Devyn Burton writes stuff for teens. He was diagnosed with Lupus, an autoimmune disease, and lives every day to the fullest.
